  • Requirements: 1. Engineer in Training (EIT) certification issued by the Puerto Rico Board of Engineers and Surveyors, and to be an active member of the College of Engineers and Surveyors of Puerto Rico; or, Architect in Training (AIT) certification issued by the Board of Architects and Landscape Architects of Puerto Rico, and to be an active member of the College of Architects and Landscape Architects of Puerto Rico with three (3) years of professional experience in the field of engineering or architecture; or, Master’s degree in planning from a licensed and/or accredited educational institution with one (1) year of experience in the planning field. 2. Be bilingual in the languages of English and Spanish.

This position is subject to Section 3 from the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968. Under Section 3, to the greatest extent feasible, job training, employment, contracting and other economic opportunities generated by certain HUD financial assistance shall be directed to low-and very low-income persons and businesses and should receive recruitment or contracting priority.
