- Requirements: 1. Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, Environmental Technology, Environmental Management, Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Architecture, or Chemistry from a licensed and/or accredited educational institution. 2. Five (5) years of professional experience in the construction field or work related to environmental science, environmental protection, or enforcing environmental laws and regulations. 3. Be bilingual in the languages of English and Spanish.
This position is subject to Section 3 from the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968. Under Section 3, to the greatest extent feasible, job training, employment, contracting and other economic opportunities generated by certain HUD financial assistance shall be directed to low-and very low-income persons and businesses and should receive recruitment or contracting priority.
