Brief Description: According to the approved current Puerto Rico Disaster Recovery Action Plan, Puerto Rico intends to undertake the Social Interest Housing Program. The focus of the Program is to increase, create or expand existing housing solutions across Puerto Rico through providing grant funds to Non-profit, Non-Governmental Organizations that demonstrate eligible activities for approved program projects serving highly vulnerable populations.

Brief Description: The Subrecipient explained the efforts and challenges they have encountered during the project delivery operation. Due to a variety of factors, the tasks have not been completed within the given time, and an extension of the contract is needed. Consequently, the Subrecipient requested an extension of fourteen (14) additional months to the performance period of the agreement to complete all of the project related tasks.

SHUTTERS AND ALUMINUM PRODUCT, CORP.: The subcontractor will provide Photovoltaic (PV) System Acquisition and Installation Services, under the Social Interest Housing Program, of CDBG-DR funds. The Term of this Contract will be for a performance period of eight (8) weeks once awarded the Contract to once the project is complete. The amount of the contract will not exceed of $36,471.00.
