Brief Description: According to the approved CDBG-DR Electrical Power Systems Enhancements and Improvements Action Plan (Action Plan), the ER2 Program focuses on benefiting Puerto Rican communities by funding projects that enhance the electrical system’s reliability, affordability, and resiliency through the development and interconnection of decentralized microgrids and distributed energy resources, including renewable energy generation, combined heat and power systems, and battery energy storage systems.
