Although there are restrictions to the full functioning of HUD, they remain working with us side by side, providing technical assistance and remaining accessible. Due to the temporary federal government shutdown, the Action Plan Amendment for $8.2 billion approval has been deferred, as was stated in the Federal Register Notice published on January 9th, 2019 (<a href=\"https:\/\/recuperacion.pr.gov\/en\/resources\/all-resources\/\">recuperacion.pr.gov\/en\/reference-material\/<\/a>). Likewise, the original portfolio of programs under the initial allocation for $1.5 billion remains on schedule for initiation.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner][vc_row_inner el_class=&#8221;bg-sky-blue-light&#8221; css=&#8221;.vc_custom_1537821686228{margin-right: 0px !important;margin-left: 0px !important;padding-right: 15px !important;padding-left: 15px !important;}&#8221;][vc_column_inner width=&#8221;1\/2&#8243;][vc_single_image image=&#8221;4820&#8243; img_size=&#8221;full&#8221;][\/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=&#8221;1\/2&#8243;][vc_column_text]<strong>CDBG-DR Updates<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Puerto Rico Housing Department successfully celebrated four (4) training meetings with the municipalities, on January 9 and 10, 2019, distributed in 2 sessions, 9am to 12pm and 2 to 5 pm. The purpose of these trainings was to provide all the municipalities with the necessary information to be able to participate as a partner in the process of inspection and orientation for the citizens for the Home Repair, Reconstruction or Relocation Program, also known as R3.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row
